Position Summary:
The Director of Operations oversees daily operations to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability. This role focuses on strategic planning, process improvement, and operational excellence across logistics, warehousing, and inventory management. Additionally, this position manages international contract reviews and negotiations to optimize global partnerships and supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities: Operations Management
- Oversee shipping, logistics, warehousing, and inventory control
- Manage forklift operations and training programs
- Develop and oversee department budgets
- Handle domestic and international contract reviews and negotiations
- Manage third-party agreements and global logistics partnerships
- Monitor marketplace metrics related to shipping and distribution
- Drive workflow improvements to enhance efficiency
- Establish strategic goals and internal accountability systems
- Develop guidelines to maximize productivity and streamline global operations
- Set clear goals and expectations for teams
- Foster a culture of appreciation, communication, and innovation
- Lead by example through hard work and professionalism
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain a strong reputation
- Work a flexible schedule to meet operational demands while maintaining work-life balance
- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: 3–5 years in warehouse operations and management, including international contract negotiation
- Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, contract negotiation, and proficiency in Google Suite
- Office and warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs as needed
- Occasional walking and standing required
