Job Description

Role Overview: As an Application Engineer in their Control Products group, you will be a pivotal figure in providing technical expertise for the application of AC vector drives across diverse industries. From assisting sales force with pre-sale selection to offering post-sales support, your contributions will directly impact the success of the drive systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical support for AC vector drive applications to our sales team and customers.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to develop sales tools, marketing materials, and product launches for AC vector drives.
  • Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and external customers.
  • Provide valuable insights to Engineering and Quality teams on product enhancements.
  • Offer on-site assistance for sales presentations, customer evaluations, and technical support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with AC Vector Drives and related automation components.
  • Proficiency in communication protocols like EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, etc.
  • Familiarity with motor control systems, reducers, HMIs, and I/O components.
  • Strong understanding of closed-loop position control applications using AC vector drives.
  • Previous engagement with OEM accounts and familiarity with industrial sales channels.
  • Preferred experience in PLC programming and network automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, time management skills, and effective communication.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for on-site customer support and presentations.
