Job Description
Position Title: Remote (Sr.) Tax Manager
Salary: Based on Experience
A Remote (Sr.) Tax Manager job, headquartered out of the Green Bay, WI area, is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role can be based at one of their local offices or be fully remote in WI or surrounding states. This position is with a CPA firm that highly values their employee’s work-life balance and strives to create a positive work environment that will pave the way for professional growth. This role requires candidates to have 5+ years of public accounting experience with 2+ years of supervisory or management experience. In this position, you will be responsible for the review of all state and federal tax returns and will manage all tax audits. This position will also develop client relationships and prepare financial statements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review all state and federal tax returns.
- Manage all tax audits.
- Train and supervise tax accounting staff.
- Develop relationships with clients to understand their needs.
- Prepare documents for submission to IRS.
- Oversee budgets and production goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting with 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
- CPA or EA certifications preferred.
- Strong experience with tax accounting and tax audits.
