Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our Manufacturing Operations team. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading and guiding our manufacturing team to achieve operational, quality, safety, and housekeeping objectives. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, providing coaching and direction to develop high-performance work teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide the manufacturing team within a dynamic continuous improvement environment.
  • Champion and support Continuous Improvement projects, contributing to process and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Provide expertise on Lean Manufacturing methods and principles, guiding the team towards efficiency.
  • Prioritize and ensure a safe work environment, implementing and overseeing 6-S programs.
  • Enforce proper safety procedures and personal protective equipment usage for a healthy workplace.
  • Act as a communication facilitator, coach, and counselor for production workers.
  • Assign tasks among department personnel, monitoring outcomes for efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure smooth and safe equipment operation within your area of responsibility.
  • Uphold quality and cost standards, meeting production requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to align schedules, parts availability, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate production metrics and data to drive consistent improvements.
  • Train and develop shop floor leads, ensuring adherence to policies and understanding of metrics.
  • Demonstrate alignment with company values and philosophies.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree and a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Strong command of English for effective communication at all team levels.
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to read performance graphs.
  • Analytical reasoning to comprehend and determine product quality based on documentation.
  • Legal documentation to work permanently in the United States.
