POSITION TITLE: Production Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
SUMMARY:
Join a dynamic team as a Production Supervisor, supporting shop floor operations by facilitating problem-solving, driving efficiency improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with team members while ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide teams towards prioritizing key tasks.
- Analyze productivity and capacity, implementing data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with planning to meet customer demand.
- Cultivate a culture of employee engagement and continuous enhancement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful performance of essential duties.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in related field.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000, AS9100, six sigma, and lean manufacturing a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Proficiency in basic mathematical operations.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Apply logical thinking to standardized situations.
