Wage: $30.00 - $35.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm  (Monday - Friday)
An Accountant job in Machesney Park, IL is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 5+ years of accounting experience, within a manufacturing environment preferred. In this position, you will process accounts payable and accounts receivable and assist with month end close process, receive and invoice packing slips, and enter manufacturing orders. This position will also communicate with vendors, process checks, and create shipping reports. This is a full-time, direct hire position that is fully onsite with work hours of 8am to 4:30pm M-F with a family owned, growing manufacturer.
Accountant job responsibilities include:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with month end close process
- Receive and invoice packing slips
- Enter manufacturing orders
- Communicate with vendors
- File and process checks
- Create shipping reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Strong general accounting knowledge
- Experience with ERP software and MS Office
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
