Position Title: Accountant
Wage: Based on Experience
An Accountant job in Manitowoc, WI is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 2+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of ERP systems. In this position, candidates will prepare month-end reports, reconcile accounts, and prepare journal entries for the general ledger. This position will also work closely with the Accounting Manager to prepare financial statements, maintain inventory, and all other duties as needed.
Accountant job responsibilities include:
- Prepare month-end reports
- Reconcile accounts
- Prepare journal entries for the general ledger
- Assist with financial statement preparation
- Maintain inventory records
- Assist the Accounting Manager with all other tasks as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- 2+ years of Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of ERP and accounting systems
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel
