Job Description
Position Title: Accountant
Wage: $60,000 - $75,000/year
An Accountant job in Rockford, IL is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions.
This fully onsite role requires candidates to have 3+ years of accounting experience with experience in a manufacturing environment. In this position, you will maintain the general ledger, complete month-end close, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports. This position will also conduct cost analysis, monitor expense accounts, create inventory reports, and support other accounting functions as needed. Accountant job responsibilities include:

Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including some experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with month end close process, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Excel
- Understanding of costing and inventory reporting
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel and Office
