Position Title: Audit Manager - Employee Benefit Plan
An Audit Manager - Employee Benefit Plan job located in either Appleton, WI or Green Bay, WI with an option for remote work for WI, IL, MI, MN, and IN residents is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This position requires 6+ years of accounting, auditing, and financial management experience within a non-profit environment with employee benefit experience. In this position, candidates will manage the audit team and all non-profit and benefit plan auditing. This position will also assist clients by providing accounting advice and resolving their accounting troubles.
Audit Manager - Employee Benefit Plan job responsibilities include:
- Manage the audit team
- Communicate with external clients to meet auditing needs
- Advise clients on accounting troubles
- Complete financial reporting for financial control systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 6+ years of accounting, auditing, and financial management experience within a non-profit environment with employee benefit experience
- CPA certification
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Proficient financial reporting experience
- Strong experience with auditing
