A Payroll Specialist job in Palatine, IL is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have experience in a payroll processing role and be bilingual in English and Spanish. In this position, candidates will be responsible for the timely payroll processing of all employees, benefit administration relating to payroll, and workers compensation. This position will also assist with maintaining payroll software, answering employee payroll questions, and maintaining employee records.
Payroll Specialist job responsibilities include:
- Perform weekly payroll processing for all employees
- Perform benefit administration including PTO, vacation time, holiday time and other payroll deductions
- Process workers’ compensation reports
- Assist with maintain payroll software
- Communicate with employees on payroll questions
- Maintain employee records
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient experience in a payroll processing role
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Experience with employee benefits
- Excellent understanding of Payroll software’s, preferably Paychex
