Job Description
Position Title: Controller
Salary: Based on Experience
A Controller job in Hazelwood, MO is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 7+ years of progressive accounting experience within a distribution or manufacturing environment. This onsite, stand-alone position will oversee financial operations and accounting systems for a $60M location. This position will complete month end close, financial analysis and reporting to ensure GAAP compliance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee financial accounting operations and systems.
- Complete financial analysis, reporting and budgeting.
- Manage and control inventory.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits.
- Ensure month end close is completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate costs and pricing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent understanding of GAAP.
- Strong experience with accounting systems.
