Job Description
Salary: Based on Experience
A Controller job in the Wausau, WI area is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 4+ years of general accounting experience with strong cost accounting experience required. In this position, candidates will prepare financial and costing reports, complete month end close, prepare the general ledger, and reconcile balance sheets. This position will also prepare invoices, review expenses, maintain financial databases, and oversee inventory. This is a full-time, direct hire position that offers a four day work week along with a strong compensation and benefits package.
Controller Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare financial and costing reports.Â
- Complete month end close.Â
- Prepare the general ledger.
- Reconcile balance sheets.Â
- Prepare invoices and review expenses.Â
- Maintain financial databases.Â
- Oversee inventory.
Controller Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of general accounting and leadership experience within manufacturing.
- Cost accounting experience required.
- Experience with accounting and ERP software.
