Job Description
Salary: Based on ExperienceÂ
A Controller job in Manitowoc, WI is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership experience preferred. In this position, you will prepare all monthly financial statements and develop and monitor internal controls. This position will also conduct financial analysis, reporting, and ensure that all financial information is recorded accurately.
Controller Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare financial statements.
- Develop and oversee internal controls.Â
- Partner with production and engineering to ensure accuracy  Â
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and sales analysis.Â
- Track cost changes.
Controller Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CMA a plus
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, with leadership experience preferred, within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with and understanding of cost accounting and GAAP.
- Experience with preparing consolidated financial statements and SEC filings.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
