- Develop and oversee production processes for new or improved products, components, and systems
- Create efficient, cost-effective, and safe manufacturing processes while maintaining quality standards
- Identify and solve problems in existing products, processes, and systems
- Specify raw materials, production equipment, and process requirements
- Prepare cost estimates for new products
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions
- Train workers in new or revised methods and procedures
- Review proposals for new products, services, or processes
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fabrication engineering role
- Proficiency in CAD software programs (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (laser, welding, forming, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent project management skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with MRP systems (Visual Manufacturing or similar)
