Role Overview:

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be a key player in our client's Engineering staff, tackling a wide range of electrifying challenges. You'll use your expertise to design, improve, and maintain electronic systems while applying innovative research techniques to validate your ideas. Your work will be dynamic and varied, and you'll have the freedom to exercise independent judgment and action.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Get hands-on with the assembly and testing of train cars and components.
  • Assist in Testing and Commissioning of Train Sets.
  • Develop and review technical specifications related to all things electrical.
  • Manage technical documentation for processes and products, ensuring top-notch quality.
  • Analyze and propose improvements to designs and processes.
  • Help define and implement manufacturing processes for electrical installations.
  • Offer support and guidance in solving production challenges.
  • Develop training materials and provide expert advice on electrical matters.
  • Attend project meetings, contributing to the project's success.
  • Analyze and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Hands-on testing of electrical components and systems.

To shine in this role, you'll need:
 
  • 3-5 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience, preferably in rail manufacturing.
  • SS or BS in Engineering.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (a big plus!).
  • Training in 3D CAD tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP (an advantage).
  • Experience with contractual projects and electric design processes.
  • Familiarity with analog circuit simulation tools like PSPICE.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (ProE or AutoCAD preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
