Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the design work for all manufactured Thermal Carbon application products
- Lead and mentor the engineering staff, ensuring high performance and professional development
- Oversee the quality of work from the production staff, ensuring adherence to quality specifications
- Drives the focus on Lean Manufacturing and 5S continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee the equipment used in production, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Provides technical support and understanding for New Product Introduction
- Ensure that the final products meet all quality specifications and standards
- Coordinate with subcontract suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of materials and services
- Work directly with customers to design and develop custom heat treat fixturing using composite materials
- Collects production and industry trend data to make informed decisions about future machine investments
- Travel to customer facilities (approximately 10% to 20% travel) to provide on-site support and consultation
Requirements for Project Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of related experience preferred
- Strong design skills
