Position Title: Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist
Wage: Based on Experience
We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist who will play a critical role in driving workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental health initiatives across the facility.
This position works closely with site leadership to develop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs while ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.

Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist Responsibilities:
- Evaluate workplace hazards and implement programs to reduce safety and environmental risks
- Partner with plant leadership to prevent incidents and drive corrective actions
- Develop and maintain safety procedures, including chemical management and SDS documentation
- Lead and deliver safety training programs; ensure accurate tracking and compliance documentation
- Support and guide incident investigations and reporting processes
- Promote PPE usage and a strong safety-first culture
- Assist in developing emergency response and evacuation plans
- Maintain EH&S documentation, including industrial hygiene and exposure records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DNR regulations
Requirements for Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- 3+ years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental compliance standards
- Experience with safety training, audits, and incident investigations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- OHST, GSP, or ASP certification preferred
- Strong collaborator who can influence across all levels of the organization
- Effective communicator with the ability to train and engage teams
- Results-driven with a proactive, hands-on approach to safety
- High integrity and commitment to building a safe, compliant workplace
