Position Title: Hybrid Contract Senior Accountant
Wage: Based on Experience
A Hybrid Contract Senior Accountant job headquartered in Milwaukee, WI is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial analysis and statement preparation. In this position, candidates will prepare journal entries, complete account reconciliations, and complete financial analysis and reporting. This position will also assist with the annual audit process, analyze annual tax returns, and prepare external grant financial reports. This role is an 18-24th month long contract. Candidates must be located in an area where they can travel to the Milwaukee headquarters.
Hybrid Contract Senior Accountant job responsibilities include:
- Prepare journal entries
- Reconcile accounts and the general ledger
- Complete financial analysis and reporting
- Prepare external grant financial reports
- Assist with annual audits
- Process and analyze annual tax returns
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and statement preparation
- Experience in a complex automated accounting environment
- Public accounting experience or CPA preferred
- Experience with account reconciliation
