Job Description
Position Title: IT Business Development Manager
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Consult with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and system requirements
- Draft technology and sales proposals and other necessary documentation to explain products and services to clients
- Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up after initial contact, secure and renew orders, negotiate prices, and complete sales
- Propose improved materials or products to clients and explain benefits of changes
- Prepare and monitor product orders and deliveries
- Manage all aspects of customer experience from start to finish
Responsibilities:
- Relevant understanding of technology and software, including network infrastructure, security, managed services, and Microsoft 365 preferred
- Experience in technology sales preferred, not required
- Self-driven and motivated by actions that yield results and growth
- Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and strong follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences
