Job Description
Position Title: Maintenance Technician-All Shifts
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot, preventive and predictive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, power transmissions, chain and belt drives, cams, bearings, actuators, blending systems, bulk-filling systems, scaling, filling, cartooning, coders/printers, electrical, compressed air
- Troubleshoot electrical control, contactors, and safety circuits (single phase – three phase/voltages ranging from 5VDC-480VAC)
- Teardown and rebuild gearboxes, clutches, actuators, and other assembles related to equipment repairs
- Fabricate parts, guarding, and parts modifications for equipment repairs and improvements
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Ability to read, understand, and follow directions
- Ability to perform simple math calculations
- Ability to write numeric and alphanumeric characters
- Ability to bend, stoop, or crouch frequently in course of the shift
- Ability to climb ladders and work at higher elevations
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to train others
- Ability to operate MHE equipment and pass certification tests
- Ability to understand aseptic juice processing
- Ability to use and read a volt, amp, and ohm meters
- Ability to use hand and power tools and shop equipment
- Hand, eye, and foot coordination to properly use hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Ability to read and understand operating and maintenance instructions, manuals, and schematics
