Our client, a leading electronics manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing efficient systems, processes, and machines to ensure the production of high-quality products. This position involves studying requirements for each process and product, determining the most efficient operation, and implementing improvements to enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria such as efficiency and speed.
- Study production and machine requirements to optimize performance.
- Develop effective automated and non-automated systems.
- Test new and existing production procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design and install equipment to improve manufacturing processes.
- Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.
- Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance.
- Resolve issues and delays in production to ensure timely delivery.
- Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality in the manufacturing process.
- Train staff in new and existing processes.
- Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
- Upgrade systems and processes with new technology to stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool designs.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
- Commitment to health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in relevant software (e.g., CAD, MS Office).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
