A Manufacturing Engineer job in Liberty, MO is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role is responsible for leading small to medium-sized projects that improve quality and efficiency of existing manufacturing processes, as well as managing the scale-up, validation, and transfer of new products into manufacturing. Key duties include project planning, equipment/process design, optimization using Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies, validation, and process documentation.
Manufacturing Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Lead and support initiatives to improve manufacturing processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
- Analyze manufacturing trend reports to ensure processes remain within control limits; assist in investigating any processes with outputs in specification but outside control parameters
- Collaborate with Product Development teams to ensure successful scale-up, transfer, and validation of new products into manufacturing
- Develop and update procedures and documentation to support product/process improvements and new product introductions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process development, optimization, or manufacturing engineering roles
- Experience with process improvement tools such as Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies
- Willingness to travel periodically, up to 20%
