Job Description:

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for precision engineering and process optimization? We are seeking a visionary Engineering Manager to join our team and lead our assembly processes to new heights of efficiency and excellence. As the Engineering Manufacturing Manager, you will wield the authority and responsibility to ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge manufacturing systems and industry certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Excellence: Spearhead the development of process standards, leveraging your expertise in surface-mounted electronic assemblies and manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and process enhancements, all while maintaining the highest industry standards.

  • Technical Expertise: Provide vital technical support to production, maintenance, and sales departments. Your insights will be instrumental in seizing new business opportunities and seamlessly transitioning new products from the NPI phase into full-scale production.

  • Training Facilitation: Conduct thorough training sessions for operators on new equipment and process modifications, ensuring a skilled and confident workforce.

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with Operations and Quality teams to guarantee the successful qualification of new equipment. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that all requirements are met before equipment is released for production.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead by example in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the organization. By identifying areas for enhancement in safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, and productivity, you will champion a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Strategic Planning: Shape the future of our manufacturing processes by creating the department's yearly strategic plan and budget. Your vision will guide our efforts toward sustainable growth and innovation.

  • Supervision and Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team of manufacturing engineers and maintenance professionals. Through clear direction, evaluation, and skill development, you will foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, accompanied by 5+ years of related engineering managerial experience. Alternatively, showcase 8-10 years of managerial experience in a relevant field. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.

  • Manufacturing Acumen: Demonstrate a deep understanding of manufacturing systems, practices, and procedures, with a track record of successfully optimizing processes and workflows.

  • Innovative Thinking: Leverage your creativity and judgment to overcome complicated challenges. Your ability to envision and implement new approaches will be crucial to our ongoing success.

  • Leadership and Communication: Showcase exceptional leadership skills, coupled with effective communication abilities. You're not just a manager; you're a mentor and influencer who can navigate change with grace.

  • Attention to Detail: Your meticulous nature ensures that every process, standard, and requirement is met with precision and accuracy.
