Position Title: Warehouse Supervisor - Night Shift
Wage: Based on Experience
Shift: 3rd
Hours: 5:00pm until Completion - Typically 2:00am (Sunday - Friday)
The Night Warehouse Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all night warehouse and shipping operations. This position leads with minimal on-site leadership support and is fully accountable for safety, productivity, order accuracy, and on-time shipments. The manager works alongside the team as needed to ensure nightly operations run efficiently and customer expectations are met.
Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage nightly warehouse and shipping operations, including picking, staging, loading and receiving
- Promote and enforce a safety-first culture in compliance with OSHA, food safety and warehouse standards
- Supervise, train, coach and hold team members accountable for performance, accuracy and behavior
- Ensure accurate and on-time shipment of customer orders while maintaining product integrity
- Monitor and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency, accuracy and reliability
- Track and manage key performance indicators related to safety, productivity and customer service
- Address operational issues independently and implement corrective actions as needed
Requirements for Warehouse Supervisor:
- 2-4 years of warehouse or distribution experience; food or produce preferred
- At least three years of supervisory or people management experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong understanding of shipping, receiving and order fulfillment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
