A Payroll Manager job in Lakewood, CO is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 5+ years of payroll management experience with a strong understanding of ADP Workforce Now and multi-state payroll processing. In this position, candidates will oversee end-to-end bi-weekly multi-state payroll processing for 1,800 employees, lead a team of two direct reports, verify timekeeping records, and audit payroll within HRIS. This position will also manage payroll system implementation, set up new state jurisdictions, and ensure compliance with all state wage and hour laws.
Payroll Manager job responsibilities include:
- Oversee end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing
- Manage a team of two direct reports
- Verify accuracy of timekeeping records
- Audit payroll within HRIS
- Manage payroll system implementation
- Set up new state jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with all state wage and hour laws
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 5+ years in a Payroll Management position
- ADP Workforce Now experience
- Multi-state/multi-jurisdiction payroll processing experience
- Timekeeping system experience required; Bullhorn preferred
- Proficient understanding of federal and state tax withholdings
- Strong experience with general ledgers
