Job Description
Position Title: Plant Accountant
Salary: Based on Experience
A Plant Accountant job in Manitowoc, WI is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 2+ years of cost accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial statements and reporting. In this position, you will also complete month end close and reconcile inventory and the general ledger. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete month-end close, analysis, and reconciliation.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Assist with budgets preparation and financial forecasts.
- Ensure US GAAP standards are followed.
- Reconcile inventory costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
- 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Experience with preparing financial reports and forecasting.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
