Position Title: Production Supervisor - 1st Shift
Wage: $66,900 - $83,600/year
Shift: 1st
Hours: 5:00am - 5:30pm (Thursday - Sunday, Every Other Wednesday)

The Production Supervisor is accountable for a specific portion of an operations function such as Manufacturing, Quality, PIC, Materials, Sterilization or Customer Engineering. Â Controls area of responsibility to achieve end result that supports the broader functional goals. Â Develops plans and strategies that integrate with plans and strategies in other areas within the broader function.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Manages and provides leadership for the functional group’s development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives
- Ensures operations schedules are met within budget through appropriate use of human and technology resources, scheduling and effective problem solving
- Plans and implements organizational changes within area of responsibility. Â Recommends changes to other areas that will improve overall effectiveness of the operations and/or quality group
- Acts as the Voice of the Customer and Subject Matter Expert for processes and partnerships within the business
- Serves as point of contact for engineering and other support functions
- Participates and promotes associate participation on cross-functional teams
- Maintains consistency in issues related to company policy, practices and documentation
- Facilitates group meetings
- Creates development plans for associates and provides honest and constructive performance feedback
- Manages throughput, schedule obtainment and non-conformance processes
- Maintains all data management and entry into relevant systems. Understands how it relates and drives KPIs
Requirements for Production Supervisor:
- Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered
- At two years of experience
- Experience in operations environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and maintained competencies in all areas defined at the Production Lead level or equivalent experience preferred
- Exposure of Lean/Six Sigma practices preferred
- Knowledge of managing in a regulatory environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to supervise associates
- Demonstrated leadership and presentation skills
- Experience and knowledge of technology and methods applicable to the area
- Ability to learn, understand and apply statistical methodologies to manufacturing volumes
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Expert knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines and practices
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety practices
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Able to work in a clean room environment, adhere to associated policies, and perform gowning of clean room attire in the allotted time prior to start up
- Able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and transport up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment
- Good manual dexterity and visual acuity including ability to distinguish colors
