Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing, implementing, and managing quality management systems compliant with industry standards such as AS9100, IATF16949, or ISO9001.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards during all stages of the manufacturing process.
- Conducting internal audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyzing data to recognize trends, uncover root causes, and establish effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Overseeing the calibration and maintenance of quality measurement equipment and tools.
- Cultivating strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a robust supplier quality program.
- Providing training and workshops for employees to instill a culture of quality consciousness.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with quality management systems, with a focus on AS9100, IATF16949, or ISO9001.
- Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes is highly preferred, though not strictly required.
- A proven track record of leading quality initiatives, conducting audits, and driving process enhancements.
- An analytical mindset coupled with the capability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external auditors, and suppliers.
- A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to quality assurance.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, even in high-pressure situations.
