Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Monitors and directs Quality Inspectors
• Monitors and reports on all Quality activities, processes, and procedures.
• Performs regular inspection audits and reviews to ensure employees adhere to Quality
• procedures and processes.
• Provides Quality planning and support among internal departments.
• Create and implement work instructions as needed.
• Provides training inclusive of Work Instructions and Quality Alerts.
• Assists with the development of new projects, processes, and procedures.
o Working knowledge of PPAP documentation and ability to provide data as required
o Working knowledge of PFMEA’s
• Identifies areas that need, and participates in, continuous improvement
o Perform and document “Root Cause Analysis”
o Working knowledge of 8D methodology and ability to use as part of Corrective Actions
o Working knowledge of 5 Whys methodology and ability to use as a part of Corrective Actions
• Creates and conducts quality reporting per Quality System or as needed.
• Promotes and supports a safe working environment.
• Organizes weekly Quality meetings.
• Communicate with customers regards Quality concerns.
• Communicates with Quality Manager to ensure continued customer satisfaction while protecting
• Company interests.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
• Associates degree or 5+ years related experience.
