Job Description
Position Title: Senior Accountant
Wage: Based on Experience
A Senior Accountant job in Des Moines, IA is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 5+ years of general accounting experience within a manufacturing environment, supervisory or leadership experience preferred. In this role, candidates will maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, conduct financial planning and analysis, and reconcile accounts. In this position, candidates will also promote internal controls, maintain accounting systems, assist with SOX compliance, and complete all other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of general accounting experience within a manufacturing environment; Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and analysis experience
- ERP experience, AS400 Legacy preferred
