Position Title: Senior Corporate Accounting Manager
Salary: Based on Experience
A Senior Corporate Accounting Manager job in the Madison, WI area is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 8+ years of accounting experience in a multi-site environment with 5+ years of supervisory experience. In this position, you will manage the month-end close process, financial statement preparation, and account analysis. This position will oversee policies and procedures for financial processes and reports up to the Corporate Controller.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the general ledger and month-end close.
- Oversee financial statement preparation.
- Review and complete account analysis.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheets.
- Oversee policies and procedures for financial processes.
- Communicate with management and deliver financial reports.
- Supervise and develop corporate accounting staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA certification preferred.
- 8+ years of accounting experience in a multi-site environment with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
- Extensive knowledge of corporate accounting, consolidations, and the general ledger.
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in a publicly traded, international company is a plus.
