Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Provide technical leadership within a scrum team, focusing on developing software automation frameworks with innovative technologies while managing technical risks. Create automated software tests across various testing levels and maintain the automation library and framework.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Define software automation strategies and best practices.
- Maintain and enhance the full software test automation suite and reusable components.
- Apply solid computer science fundamentals, design patterns, and software design principles.
- Utilize Source Code Management tools with expertise.
- Implement performance and security test techniques, including API and interface testing.
- Apply Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Develop and manage dynamic software test data creation.
- Organize and oversee software testing processes.
- Provide technical support, mentoring, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in testing activities and code/test reviews.
- Demonstrate mastery of traditional white and black box test techniques.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory standards.
- Oversee SQA/testing activities within the scrum team.
- Ensure software release readiness, verification, and reporting.
- Familiarity with GMP/CRF Part 11/IEEE/ISO 9000 standards.
- Adhere to Agile principles and promote growth within the team.
- Demonstrate leadership competencies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in an SDET role.
- Skills: Proficient in .NET C#, C++, Python, Typescript/Angular 8+, T-SQL.
- Proficient in API and system testing tools (RestAssured, Postman/Swagger, Cucumber, Selenium/Protractor).
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
- Continuously acquire new technical skills and knowledge.
- Proven track record of goal achievement.
- Effective communication and crisis management.
- Make well-informed decisions based on analysis, experience, and judgment.
