Position Summary: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a vital role in driving the implementation of engineering initiatives and projects. You'll contribute to plant production, quality control, maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts.
Essential Job Duties:
- Develop innovative solutions for daily engineering challenges in production, quality control, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee contractors and suppliers involved in the integration of new technologies.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects, delegating tasks to engineers, maintenance, and operatives.
- Champion Continuous Improvement projects across production areas.
- Collaborate with Production associates to turn ideas into action.
- Exhibit advanced problem-solving skills, implementing lasting solutions to critical issues.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in project management and leadership, guiding engineers, analysts, and hourly staff.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, controls, gauging, and mechanical/electrical engineering.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment.
- CAD expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
