Job Description
Position Title: Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager
Salary: Based on Experience
A Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager job in Sturtevant, WI is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 5+ years of senior level accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. This position will complete month-end close responsibilities, including writing journal entries and account reconciliations. This position will maintain the General Ledger and oversee AP and AR staff members.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete month-end close and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare financial reports and provide analysis.
- Ensure accuracy from AP and AR staff.
- Provide support in tax returns and tax audit.
- Maintain fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditures.
- Maintain General Ledger.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of senior level accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and accounting software.
- CPA certification a plus.
