Job Description
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Production Manager to lead their production efforts to new heights of efficiency, quality, and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of production supervisors and workers to achieve production targets while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Develop and execute production plans, schedules, and budgets that align with company goals and customer demands.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance to ensure seamless production processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to identify trends and opportunities for process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout all production activities.
- Identify and implement best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions to maintain our competitive edge in the market.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior leadership on production performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and production optimization strategies.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a high-performing team.
- Proficient in using production management software and tools to monitor and analyze production data.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across departments and presenting to stakeholders.
