As a Senior Quality Assurance Technician, you'll be a crucial member of our client's team, dedicated to ensuring our equipment meets or exceeds the expectations of our customers. You'll have the chance to mentor, coach, and provide continuous training to department employees, ensuring their success and development.
Sr. QA Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Mentor, coach, manage, and provide continuous training to department employees.
- Be the primary field service technical support contact, resolving customer issues.
- Assist in training Quality Assurance and Field Service Technicians.
- Gather essential job documents and prepare equipment for customers.
- Safely power up equipment and perform various tests.
- Document processes and record data.
- Run the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with sales and engineering.
- Recommend modifications for optimal quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and participate in process improvement.
Sr. QA Technician Requirements:
- Proficiency in technical mentoring and coaching.
- Ability to interpret complex documents and effectively write reports.
- Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Mechanical equipment adjustment skills.
- Strong analytical aptitude.
- Understanding of industrial controls and electrical schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High motivation and work ethic.
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
