A Staff Accountant job in Freeport, IL is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 2+ years of accounting with a strong understanding of FP&A. In this position, candidates will complete month end close, reconcile the general ledger, conduct variance analysis, and Accounts Receivable. This position will also prepare and analyze financial reports, assist supervisors with financial planning, and develop financial models.
Staff Accountant job responsibilities include:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 2+ years of Accounting experience with a strong understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis
- Experience with financial reporting
- Experience with account reconciliation and the general ledger
- Excellent understanding of Excel
