Job Description
A Talent Acquisition Specialist job in Cherry Valley, IL is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions.
This role requires 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, within a manufacturing environment preferred. In this position, candidates will source, screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates for open positions and complete the onboarding process. This position will also maintain candidate records in the ATS, write and update job descriptions, and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers and staffing firms.
Talent Acquisition Specialist job responsibilities include:
- Source, screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates
- Lead new hires through the onboarding process
- Maintain candidate records in the ATS
- Write, update, and post job descriptions
- Maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers and staffing firms
- Prepare weekly recruiting reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology
- 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Paylocity preferred
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Experience with job boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
