As an Investment Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate calculation of the Net Asset Value (NAV) of Collective and Unitized funds on a daily basis. Your role will involve verifying accruals, transaction activity, and pricing on assets held within the funds, and making manual adjustments where necessary. Additionally, you will collaborate with broker/dealers to execute trades accurately and timely, ensuring the smooth processing of plan/participant trades.
Trust Fund Valuation Specialist Responsibilities:
- Calculate the Net Asset Value (NAV) of collective and unitized funds daily, ensuring accuracy in accruals, transaction activity, and pricing
- Monitor equity and bond trading for the Trust Company, including assets not publicly traded
- Review trade confirmations to ensure accuracy and timely affirmation and settlement
- Monitor domestic and international wires requested by Trust Administration and Operations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Balance account transactions for accounts where ATC is not custodian (held-away) to aid in investment portfolio management
- File class action suits for positions held in client accounts, including researching holders and buy/sell transactions
- Perform reallocation of funds received or distributed from Lifestage Collective Funds, ensuring accurate execution of trades
- Provide oversight over daily prices to ensure accurate valuation and fee calculations
- Manage the securities lending process for large institutional clients, monitoring and reconciling all positions
- Transfer securities at depositories as requested by Treasury Operations, verifying requests for accuracy
Requirements for Trust Fund Valuation Specialist:
- Associates’ degree in in Business, Accounting, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least two years of experience in trust, investments, finance or accounting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and data processing
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
